Great Do's & Great Company – Willie has been cutting my hair for about 23 years now (There must be someone out there who's seen him longer? Hello?). The only period during which Willie didn't cut my hair was when my neighbor was a stylist and we traded services for a while. Willie used to cut my father's hair and cuts my daughters hair (and she's in her mid-20's now). So he's multi-generational. Willie's an amazing stylist – I've been going to Willie for the last three years, and it's true - he can do anything with anyone's hair! When I went to him, I had short hair that I'd wanted to grow out for years, and he was the only stylist who was able to get me through the awkward growing-out stage without it looking sloppy and terrible. Love my stylist – I've been going to see Huy (pronounced 'We') ever since I moved here. I struggled to find a good stylist, as that's one of the difficulties of moving to a new city. I'm so glad I met him early on. I haven't gone to anyone since, and I don't plan to as long as he has hands and cuts hair. He is so precise about his techniques and he always explains things thoroughly. He does what you want him to do, but he also makes sure you understand the consequences of your decisions. How could no one mention Leslie? – Seriously, in all my years with this thick mane of curly locks I dont think Ive had a stylist tame it so well. I dont even have to use product and it still looks great. Even cooler is that I was referred to her by a friend, who has decidedly straighter, thinner hair then I.
