We went in for an emergency and ended up with all of our dogs there getting caught up on shots and medicines. The staff is very kind and helpful.
I was very happy with this Veterinarian Office during the couple of years we went here. They were always attentive and caring to the needs of my dog & cat. Then very suddenly they called me several years ago and said, "We are closing our office, you will have pay off your bill and find a new vet". I called this place hoping someone would have compassion for a stray I took In, and be able to help this beautiful animal! She scratched herself so badly it left a gaping wound by her neck, and the cat won't let me care for it,while being in a lot of pain! I am disabled, with no car, and can't afford $89 for a home visit, plus services, or able to take her to a vet without a car. I just moved to Sacramento from California with two dogs and three cats, so Priority #1 was finding a great vet. The few people I know here don't have animals, so I went online to check out some reviews. Everyone was recommending about Family Friends Vet Hospital, so I called and made an appointment. Our visit at Family Friends Veterinary Hospital has been great. They provide us with wonderful and caring service. The staff is competent.
This is by far the nicest vet office I've ever been to. The staff was very professional and friendly, a definite step above what I've experienced before. (I left my previous vet because his staff was terrible, teenagers with attitude, and they couldn't answer my questions. Didn't trust my Buddy with them.) I'm very happy with the care we got from the vet as well. She's gentle with the little dogs, which is important to me.
When I got my new puppy, I thought I'd try a new vet and was really glad I did. This hospital is clean and friendly, and the doctor was amazing with my Georgie. She really got his tail wagging.
