My husband and I purchased our Lot from Mandalay in September 2016. Our house did not even begin to have anything done to it for over a month. Here it is now going into May and we are still almost 2 months out. I have been lied to from the beginning. Starting with when it will be started, to, promises from the Sellers office to the lowest and highest person on the totem pole. I bought a home in prescott Az in May from mandalay homes. I was told we would be in our new home in January 2017. Apparently, a verbal agreement is no longer valid because they haven't poured the slab yet! I have heard nothing from them but delays and excuses. I no longer feel confident in these people
Our experience with Mandalay overall has been negative. NOTHING has been done on time starting from when they originally told us the house would be started. The Project seemed to be unorganized and our house sat for much to long during the framing stage causing a string of problems mostly with the drywall on the interior. Everything in the house was rushed through and the workmanship was subpar. For the price we are paying for this house I expected a lot more attention to detail.
