The hospital and staff are top notch! Had a need to be there twice in the last year, and they don't get much better! Courteous, the rooms and hallways are all clean. Top notch! We brought in Bagels as a sign of appreciation, we will do so again!
was in observation for blood pressure caused from pregnancy and the doctors and nurses in labor and delivery are so nice and caring.
The staff were all very prompt and professional. The facility was very clean and they were actively enforcing social distancing and taking all precautions regarding Covid.
The nurses and doctors are caring people and they took care of me quickly!
Everyone on the fourth floor is there to serve, and serve they do, then the surgeon, anesthetists, and the whole crazy group who made my surgery amazing. What a team and I love the new hospital - was there many years ago and what a facelift. Congratulations to all.
Doctor was efficient and straight forward. 🙂 Nursing staff acted like I didn't exist until there was treatment order. I had no blanket, call button, or check in until after doctor saw me. Then I had to ask and still didn't get a call button that was hanging on the wall console. I used the gown on the bed as a cover until I got a blanket. Like the facility, doctors and nursing staff in general; they just messed up last night. 😣
A shout out to my nurse Wendy on 4th floor tower. She was the best. Also praises to the rest of the staff, nurses as well as the transporters, assistants, etc. They were all wonderful and tha surgeons were great.
I visited the ER describing a sudden near-total hearing loss in one ear. I had been advised in a telemedicine appt through my insurance to go immediately to the ER. In the ER, I was diagnosed with “swimmer’s ear” and prescribed drops. No testing was done. It was much, much more serious. Not happy.
I had to have a stent done on Friday April 24th. I was so frightened but all of the staff, nurses and support team were wonderful and made me feel so much more at ease. All the staff in the Cath Lab and on the T wing of the hospital were so awesome! I have nothing but thankfulness and hugs for all of them! Dr Matthews and Dr Buck were wonderful and answered my questions making me at ease. I highly recommend Manatee Memorial Hospital 😃 Even in the midst of this pandemic your staff were nothing but amazing!
