Jes H Arrogant, yes--but worse, not helpful, and condescending to the point of being insulting. The poor attitude of the manager in the downtown store affects most of the staff, but you may be lucky. Don't expect them to return calls when they say they will--you've been blown off. They act like they don't need you at all because they are the only music store in town--but fortunately they are not.
the staff is incompetant and condescending i recently bought an exquisite ovation adamas millenium at mammoth....it was filthy, had 6 year old strings on it and nobody knew or cared where the original case, warranty, or owners guide were. this is a $3700 guitar ..3 different clerks blew me off, a 4th sold me a cheesy, bottom of the line case for an extra $100 the staff couldn't answer any of my questions.....they were rude and unproffessional and they treated us like we were the morons. PROS: great guitar selection CONS: poo... read more
Best Guitar Store in Town If you are buying a new guitar, you have to decide what you want, but Mammoth carries the best selection of guitars in town in every price range. If you need strings or equipment, its the place to go because they probably have what you want in stock. The new store by the Diamond Center is great and improving. I bought my Taylor 410-CE there and have been extremely please with the guitar and their service as well. PROS: Excellent selection of products CONS: They often seem understaffed & they don't h... read more
What a cool place! This was the only store in town that had the bass guitar that my husband wanted. Not only that, it was on sale, and we got a military discount. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they can help you out with music lessons if needed. The store is much larger on the inside than it looks.
I Was Disappointed I was offput by the arrogant, adolescent staff. And they're advertising under lessons but offer none. I found the customer service altogether disappointing.
Where are the music lessons? Where are the lessons? They advertise music lessons but provide none. What is up with that? They are apparently ta music store, not a teaching studio.
