The food was very tasty and came out quickly but unfortunately my wife's coffee had over a tablespoon of coffee grounds in her mug.
The employees are great and helpful & the food is good for the most part. However, this is a self-serve restaurant where you have to order at the counter rather than a waiter coming to the table to serve you. I don’t know if it’s just this location or it’s their new policy, but at the original location you actually had a waiter and you paid after the meal, not prior. Unfortunately it wasn’t for us.
Our favorite brunch restaurant in Athens. I love the veggie scramble with cheese grits. The fruit and cheese plate with homemade pimento cheese and pita bread is amazing. To mix things up, I'll order poached eggs ala carte with a side of cheese grits. My husband orders the BLT with fries every time. Update: He also orders the burger or pork sandwich. The Mill Town breakfast is now my go-to, with sourdough toast instead of a biscuit. It's not currently on the menu, but you can order a pint of the delicious pimento and cheese ... read more
Worst breakfast experience ever…. Waited 45 min for food. Chocolate chip pancakes were actually plain pancakes with a few sprinkled on top as an afterthought. Bathroom was out of toilet paper and soap. Atmosphere is lackluster….. very disappointing…..
