Mamacita's is Houston's first choice for Mexican food! With so many area outlets offering tacos, enchiladas and burritos, few seem to stand out like Mamacita's does. The menu offers many of the same standard items offered elsewhere but it also has some more traditional dishes from Mexico's Yucatanregion, which gives diners a chance to sample something new. The dining room is loud at peak times, but the covered patio is generally less busy and more relaxing.

This place is awesome. Even better... they have brunch and it's one of the most amazing experiences you can have if you like Texmex. Eat at mamacitas. It's great.
ROACHES!!!!!! – My family & I use to eat here every week for years!!!! Not once but TWICE i've seen a roach while eating! I will NEVER step foot back in this place!!!
Used to love it... until the roach visited our table.... – We used to frequent Mamacitas on NASA Rd. 1 for breakfast every Sunday, and they have THE MOST awesome Migas and refried beans anywhere... BUT - we went just this past Sunday and a cockroach crawled across one of the chairs at our table. We decided to just pay and leave, as we were mostly finished, and as we were leaving, decided to mention it to the woman who appeared to be the manager on duty. Terrible Tacos – Went to Mamacitas for lunch today. Hubby ordered 3 crispy tacos. He said they were greasy and had a peculiar taste so he only ate 1. When the waiter came to clear the table he asked if hubby wanted a To Go Box. He explained what was wrong with the tacos and politely declined the box. The waiter offered to have them re-made saying another guest had complained about them also. Best Mexican Food – I love the Cozumel combination plate here, served with a cheese enchilada, taco al carbon, cheese tostada, beens, rice and guacamole. The shrimp enchiladas are also delicious. Service is prompt, prices are reasononable, and they serve homemade tortillas with your order. This is one of the best mexican restaurants in the Houston and Clear Lake area.
Once A Favorite – This used to be our favorite place to eat. We were Friday night regulars. In the past few years, service has really gone down hill. We miss the friendly and fun staff. There seems to be too much emphasis on making a quick dollar and turning tables. As for coupons, they've always been difficult with accepting them, even the ones they advertise in the church bulletin. We also don't like the fact that they only reserve the porch seating for large groups, that was always our favorite place to sit with our kids.
A great find!! – We decided to give this place a try after recent decline in service at our regular Mexican spot, and wow we are so glad we did. The food is excellent and the service is consistent and attentive! Now we have to stop going several times in ONE WEEK! Quality food and great service here!! Nice authentic Mexican atmosphere and decor!

Extremely good service, best vegetarian mexican food I've had – Very good margaritas and quick seating. When we arrived, the parking lot was completely full but upon entering we (2 of us) were seated at a booth within 5-10 minutes. The green sauce is very good and the wait staff is friendly. My favorite is their spinach-anything: spinach burrito, spinach enchilada, spinach quesadillas. They have a more impressive vegetarian menu than most mexican food places.
