off the chart good breakfast Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. When I have a good breakfast, my day is golden. One of the best breakfast places I've ever found is the seemingly innocuous Mama Kat's Restuarant & Pie Shop. They're easy to miss, but if you find them (long story on how that happened), you'll be hooked for life. Their breakfasts are legendary to the locals who know about them - and I'm not local but I still go. It's worth the drive if breakfast is your thing.
Mama Kat's Restuarant & Pie Shop This restaurant was once called Grandpa Allen's Restaurant & Pie Shop and now under new ownership. They are open daily for Breakfast and Lunch. They serve outstanding coffee. Known for their Biscuits and Sausage Gravy and Egg's Benedict. I can definitely recommend the Biscuits and Gravy, they are delicious. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday, be sure to go early, they do pack the people in. They do have outside sitting. I highly recommend this country mom and pop type restaurant.
Small Town Feel! Moma Kat's has such a small town feel! It feels like you are in the middle of the country when you are there and your grandma made you breakfast! There biscuits and gravy are delicious! You can really tell its family owned!
Mama Kat's If you need a new spot for breakfast, try Mama Kat's Restaurant & Pie Shop. From what I heard the two times we were there French Toast is what you should order. Their pies are the hit of the shop.
A satisfying experience What a great place to enjoy breakfast at. Their coffee is a crowd pleaser and the service is great. A great find!

Do you need to treat during Covid shut downs? They have nailed social distancing and sanitation! The breakfast is a true treat and if you get a yummy gourmet coffee as well it’ll make your day!
