My wife got some sweet bread and it was old hard as a rock we tried dipping in coffee but ended up tossing. Better luck next time?
Easily the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. Maybe worst food I’ve had ever. I wouldn’t say it is a Mexican restaurant. There are more “American” style dishes than anything else. We tried the chicken nachos, chicken quesadilla, queso blanco, and carne asada fries. The only thing that might have been made there, was the queso blanco. The nachos and asada fries had gas station style nacho cheese and freezer burnt fries. The “chicken” quesadilla was as thick as a tortilla folded in half. I honestly thought they forgot... read more
Recently moved to Stevens Point area from Chicago and searching for authentic Mexican food that challenges the food scene back home… found it… Mama Alda’s in Plover. The food is excellent, atmosphere basic but brings home the point it’s all about the food and service. Highly recommend.
