Love it great meat
I’ve been coming here for over 30 years, since I was a kid and Papa was still around every day. The chorizo has been the best tasting and consistent over time, and it’s the reason we drive from Whittier. However it’s changed. The guy that’s made it is gone. He used to work there also for over 20 years and took the recipe with him. The new chorizo doesn’t even come close.
I came here as a kid so many times with my parents, we made carne asadas and always got our meats here, Mr Maloney was a very nice person, even though there was a wait, we always got free ham and cheese as a courtesy. Many memories coming here.
