I am sure it was just busy maybe being "move in" weekend for IU but my wife and I along with another couple waited about an hour for our food tonight. The food was great, but in an hour and a half we only saw our waiter a few times. We ordered more drinks when our food finally arrived and ended up canceling them because we were finished eating and they hadn't showed up at the table yet.

Apparently I need to stop eating out. Just had the worst service at Malibu Grill in Bloomington. Hair in my mashed potatoes that were old and hard, cold food. The waiter never refilled our glasses and cleared Teegans plate before she finished eating. Paul ordered his burger without a bun and of course it came with a bun. Didn't think I had that high of expectations but apparently I do.

Very nice atmosphere, varied menu. Most recent visit was early New Year eve. I ordered the scallops over spinach and rice. The scallops and rice were well prepared and tasty but the spinach was not thoroughly cleaned. The grains of sand left on the spinach ruined the entree

Great food, super busy but server was on her A game although a little slow...a definite repeat.
My daughter is a Junior at IU & fortunately we discovered Malibu Grill the weekend we initially moved her in. We return every time we're in Btown. Love the music, the wine selection, and the scallops & spinach are fantastic! Love how they are attentive to my GF needs too!
Best restaurant in Bloomington. Great for lingering over wine with friends.
