This is the place – If you want great fish and chips, this place beats the pants off of Neptunes Nest. The pieces are big and juicy. The food is so great, I wish I had two stomachs.

Like seafood on the Med – I have taken numerous European friends here when they visit Malibu. "Like eating seafood on the Med" is a typical response to the perfectly prepared fresh fish eaten while enjoying the ocean. A perfect setting. The fish n chips are noteworty, ditto for taquitos and ceviche. The marinated mussels are spectacular, and take home fish to cook--you won't find better.

This place is a hoot! – Going north past Pepperdine University on Pacific Coast Highway out of Malibu, it's easy to miss. But when you find it you've discovered a find indeed. Incredible large cold shrimp. Don't know where they get them. Potato salad sensational. It's funky, a bunch of terraces and semi-outside/inside rooms dug out of the side of a hill, all served by a tiny kitchen, (you order at a counter), but absolutely worth it. If! You can find a place to park. It's always, always, jammed.

See(food) Malibu – this is a great place to stop for cheat eats while taking a drive up the coast. great clam chowder. great fish fry. great location.

PCH's Snack shack – Need an excuse to take a Sunday drive up PCH? You've found it. Choose fresh fish to go or order something to eat outside on benches. This is extremely casual dining (on-site) if you chose to stay so beach combers, have no fear. My favorite is the Ahi Burger, a light and satisfying meal before or after the beach. Kick back and watch the sunset because its right in front of you.
