Good tasting thai food, not the most authentic but tastes good...nice heated patio area to dine in.
Good food but terrible customer service!!! My husband and I love Mali because we live in Morningside and can take a leisurely stroll there. The food is consistently good but the customer service is getting worse. We've eaten here at least 10 times and the last straw for us was this past Valentine's Day. We waited over an hour for our appetizers. Our waiter didn't come back and check on us. We had to flag him down and ask for our food. don't waste your time there – Had a reservation and still waited outside thirty minutes to get our table, it also took an hour and half to get my meal and another half hour to get my ticket, Was a waste of my time. The restaurant doesn't look like it does on the photos on their website. Spent 200 dollars for bad service. don't waste your money here.The manager didn't care when I told him that the service was bad, he kept giving me excuses.
My mother and I went to The Mali Thai Restaurant before we went to check out the Salvador Dali exhibit at theHigh Museum. We got there at lunchtime and were seated immediately. Our appetizer of spring rolls were crispy, amazing goodness. My mom got the Soft Shell Crab dish, and had them do only one pepper of spicyness, which ended up being good, because it was very spicy, but delicious! perfectly prepared food – If there’s one word that would describe this place, it would be FANTASTIC. The food and the service exemplifies excellence. I loved the tangy flavor of of my entree. It was perfectly prepared. The service was certainly one of the best we had. I had a very gratifying experience here at Mali.
had a good time – i like that Mali offers wine to go with the food, as i am an avid wine drinker. the staff was very friendly and the food was good, although the portions were smaller than what i expected, which i guess is why they can afford to have competitive prices.

Wow, what a nice find! Great Thai food, delicious sushi, attentive service, wonderful porch dining overlooking a tree-lined street in one of the more beautiful neighborhoods in midtown Atlanta. What's not to like?
