Avoid at all costs. I strongly DO NOT recommend Malek Periodontics or Dr. Tannaz Malekzadeh. I had a very difficult and traumatic experience, and I strongly caution anyone considering going there. I trusted my dentist’s referral and truly regret not reading the negative reviews beforehand. I went in for a dental implant, and based on imaging and clinical evaluation, it should have been clear whether the tooth could be fully extracted. Dr Malek is a very caring doctor and spends time explaining what needs to be done and why; then does an excellent job and with very little discomfort Her staff is also very pleasant and helpful; spending a great deal of time explaining and answering questions concerning post operative things to do and not to do. From the moment I first visited the office, I was impressed by the exceptional team. Their communication, and outstanding customer service. Dr. Malek herself is a rare pearl in a vast sea. She is remarkable when it comes to bone grafts, gum grafts, and dental implants. Today I got a teeth cleaning by Amber, and this is by far one of the best cleaning experiences I’ve ever had. Amber took the time to explain to me beforehand everything that she was going to do, she was so gentle and intentional with how she handled me, and she gave me sensory descriptions of what I would feel for every tool that she used on me.
