This place used to be great, but the quality has gone downhill severely in the past few months. We live near by and have been coming here every weekend for the past 1.5 years. They started replacing ingredients with low quality ones. No more wood ear mushrooms, wide glass noodle. Some days even bok choy or cilantro are missing. Recently even the fatty beef looked brown and stale. I'm not even asking that they return to the early days when the place offered abalone and shrimp; they should at least get the basics right. Great spot for a warm and easy meal when the weather gets colder. There are several soup bases to choose from. I recommend the signature beef bone broth. It was flavorful, comforting, and not overly salty, so the soup itself was very drinkable. We also tried the dry mixed malatang, which was a little too salty for my taste.
