Small tiny Inn, nothing special. Room is in desperate need of renovations. Huge crack in the sink and saw it right when we walked in. Apparently it’s not on the hotel to provide parking and you are completely left on your own to figure it out. Apparently there is a festival that is going on for three days with no warning at all from the hotel. We had to walk two streets down from the opposite side to even get to the hotel with all our bags. No accommodations at all for the inconvenience or refund for how ridiculous that was.... read more

Excellent service and clean. Yes, parking can be an issue, but extremely friendly staff. Rates are excellent, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance of the hotel.

Such a gracious experience staying at the Mainstay. From the courteous and professional welcoming staff to the helpful and professional room service staff to those seeing to the coffee and various machines kept full and working, a stay here is such a delight. Even the current renovations had virtually no impact on my daily ins and outs. The grace you'd expect from an old hotel, with all the benefits you'd expect from a modern spot. Splendid!

Very cute place to stay. Town reminds me a bit of Montclair, nj and Greenwich village. Cute shops, night life. Desk is very accommodating. Night manager is awesome. Been going there for 2 years and know I have insomnia, so I chat a bit with him. Cool dude. Hotel is small, you can tell its old, like a century. Adds to charm. Parking is a hassle but get your work out in. Don't be lazy.

I was attending a movie premiere of THE FINAL BOY a movie I was in. Playing right at the Colonial Theater which is literally next door. So this hotel was perfect. The room was small but that was fine as i was just staying the night. So I could celebrate the After Party. Atmosphere was great, very clean, very friendly and organized. Kristine is amazing and very informative. Parking can be challenging because during the sept-oct 6 they close the road for city entertainment block party. So the Presbyterian church parking lot is... read more
