We went to Mainely Brews this past Saturday night (10/29/16). We got there at 9:30PM. We sat down and a gentleman brought us menus and water. After a wait, a waitress finally came and took our drink order. I got a margarita with sugar instead of salt and the drink wasn't good. We went on a recommendation of a friend and really enjoyed it. Service and atmosphere were great, and so was the food. It was hard to decide - so many yummy choices! Ribs were very tender and the salad and coleslaw just right. The French dip sandwich was the right size and also very tasty. Prices were very reasonable. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about were the onion rings. The batter was bland and not very crispy. We still will be back!

I gave your restaurant 5 stars for the food...NEVER have I had a bad meal!! ALWAYS very delicious BUT the service is a different story. .....slow, very slow every time with never an apology! ! And last nite was ridiculous...I and a co-worker arrived around 10pm, just getting out of work, was told by an employee, that she was the "only one on" at that point so we'd have to order at the bar...we ordered 2 ice waters and an appetizer..I paid then and left a tip and we found a seat!! Great place to meet with family. Atmosphere is different from most spots in Maine, which makes for a different experience. Food and beverage choices are great and the service is friendly and competent.
A rare night out with my boyfriend and I was excited to take him to Mainley brews. I had the ribs before and they were good,I was craving some again. When I gave "my waitress" my order she said they were out of ribs, I chose the fish instead. We literally waited 1 hour 15 minutes for a hamburger and fish n chips. My "waitress " didn't give us our food ,refill our drinks or gave us the time of day. Another staff member had to tell her we were done and ready for our check.
