We were on a roadtrip vacation from KC,MO. Honestly, it was the best emergency medical encounter I've ever had, and I had quite the emergency so that's really saying something. Everybody was so pleasant, courteous, and really made my feel seen as a fellow person and not just another number to get back out of the door. I'm not sure if this is for the ER visit or the urology visit but this goes for both experiences. Let me preface this review with the fact I have 30+ years of laboratory/pathology work experience, so that said, I'm not ignorant when it comes to the medical field. My dad was referred here, back in Feb 2024 for a PSA of 18. A PSA of 18 is almost 5x that of the normal range (0-4) and he was having frequent urination. We met with Kristina Ballard, who was lovely. Fantastic staff and department. Everyone I have encountered; reception, nurses, nurse practitioners and doctors are amazing. Everyone is so friendly and caring. Youre listened to and helped and I havent had a question go unanswered. NP Brown, Dr. Hartnett and Dr. Wodkowski are simply fantastic. Cant say enough good things.
