The closest thing I had to home, was at this place where I was able to grow and learn and open up and become the person I am. The love and commitment across-the-board is beyond remarkable and friendships to this day exist. MaineStay provides a comprehensive, integrated approach to helping young people deal with mental heath issues, cognitive challenges, repairing harm, PTSD and more. They ask a lot of their guests, but the rewards are also high. Staff makes kids accountable and visible. Kids are often heard/seen for the first time in their lives. If a loved one is lucky enough to get a placement at this residence for struggling youth, stick with it, work the program. You're in good hands.
