Worst waist of money I have spent since my ex. I opened the box (in my car- big mistake) and the lobster was obviously dead. It smelled before I even opened the box. I have never smelled something like it. I emailed customer service and Michael D could not have been less understanding or sympathetic. I guess they don't rely on repeat customers. Had tried to get a refund for over 4 weeks over their dead lobsters gaurantee. Warning this Policy is worthless, and pure advertising ploy only.; Had 24 lobsters shipped. Suppose to be hardshells, as their customer service rep promised. I know my lobsters. These were not Hardshells. Paper thin. Could open claws with twist of hand. Called complained. Poor quality lobsters. ordered 6 1-1/2 pound lobsters and every one had recently shedded. Very little meat, just lots of water. The shells were so thin I could easily break apart the claws with just my bare hands, no crackers needed. Quality control should have caught this and not sent them.
