I ordered the little neck clams, lobster rolls, lobster bisque soup, and a couple of whoopie pies. The shipment was delivered when requested and everything was there. The steamers (little neck clams) were soooo good! Steamed, shucked, dipped in the cooking broth, then in butter - melted in our mouths! (The broth was great for sipping as well!) Horrible!! Ordered weeks in advance for our daughter’s 30th birthday party; and then unilaterally cancelled right before Xmas making it impossible to order elsewhere. Falsely claimed FedEx snow delays but FedEx said not true, storm not until Friday! Days from now. Will never order from again. Totally unreliable.

received a gift/work bonus with Ahi tuna in it and it smelled rancid. Fresh fish should never smell fishy, only old fish does. Called the company to have the issue rectified and was on hold for over 15 minutes. They gave me the $45 dollar credit they owed for the rotten fish, but I will have to spend at least $55 more to not have to pay for shipping again. BUYER BEWARE BUYER BEWARE! One of the 3 lobsters ordered for our annual Christmas Eve dinner was absolutely dead on arrival. Had ordered in advance for priority overnight delivery 12/22 (in case there were any problems). Had paid for extra insurance as well as a holiday fee. Called "customer service" as soon as received. CS told me to email photo of dead lobster on its back - which was no problem, & I requested a replacement lobster for delivery 12/24. We ordered 3 pounds of cooked (refrigerated) tail meat and a couple of filet mignons. The order process was a snap. Federal Express generally promises delivery by 10:30am with the type of service requested. However, if you are in a residence or slightly out of town, they will only commit to next day by 5:00pm. Fortunately for us, the driver managed to make it here a little after noon the day after shipment. Ordered on Friday and delivered to my home in Washington state on Saturday at 3 PM. Lobsters were hard shell and males (as requested). Clams disappointed. Had 5 pounds of steamers and a dozen had broken shells. They were also very sandy and the broth had to keep being refreshed.

Ordered lobsters for father’s day. Maine lobster now did not include the apartment number. FedEx called them when they couldn’t deliver and were given the apartment number. FedEx could not redeliver that same day. When the package arrived, my father received dead lobsters for father’s day. Customer service was extremely rude. They refused to take responsibility ability. Don’t order from them. If something goes wrong, they won’t do anything

DO NOT order from here. Poor quality food and horrible packing and shipping. They'll call you if you leave a bad review and try to appease you with some stupid solution. They'll want to call you to "discuss" it. Nothing to discuss. You suck, now issue me a full credit. Case closed. But did they? No. They wanted to re-ship me the same sucky food. NO THANK YOU!

Worst waist of money I have spent since my ex. I opened the box (in my car- big mistake) and the lobster was obviously dead. It smelled before I even opened the box. I have never smelled something like it. I emailed customer service and Michael D could not have been less understanding or sympathetic. I guess they don't rely on repeat customers. It was so disgusting I had to take it to a commercial dumpster. My car still smells bad and I get comments which is embarrassing. I take most of the blame for buying a lobster over th... read more
