Main Event I happened on these reviews while looking up the number for my son's upcoming Bar Mitzvah. My daughter's Bat Mitzvah was 2 years ago, and Main Event did a spectacular job. I did not personally need a kosher caterer as the event was dairy, but the event space mandated it. Main Event Caterers deliver success I have been workign with Main Event Caterers about three years. I hire them for 5-10 events per year. The events vary from small (16 guests) working dinners to bigger (200 guests) receptions. I have never been dissapointed with food, staff or prior communication with event designer. There have been only two slight errors (miscommunication, mixing up the wine), but the rest of the time - performance beyond expectations. Excellent Kosher Caterers I was recommended to have this caterer for my daughter's wedding by her friend and I could not be happier. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. Everyone loved everything and complemented us for days later. They will do everything you ask and even more. I have no complaints. If you need a kosher caterers for a wedding or event, Main Event Caterers are the ones to call.
Shocked at allegations below I must say, as I was googling Main Event for info on their mailing address, I came across these two negative reviews. While everyone has their opinion - I am shocked at some of the points made by Adam W. See how Main Event treats their clients unfortunately main event takes very long to return your call (weeks). for my money I do not like being treated so shabbily. as a matter of fact they took a $2500 check from me and never even gave me a receipt. when they took weeks to return a contract i wanted my check back.Bear in mind there is no signed contract and no catering services provided and they will not send back the check. Quality and Class Eddy and the staff outdid themselve in the two weddings that they catered for us. In Jewish weddings one expects quantity, but Main Event provided SUPERB QUALITY as well. Our guests could not have been more pleased.
Main Event Caterers is on par with Gerbers baby food. I would never use main event because having seen how horrendously they treat their employees I would not support such a business on that basis alone. Horrible Experience, Stay Away I was impressed with my initial contact with Main Event: quick replies, nice proposal. Now I HUGELY regret paying Main Event an enormous deposit. They could not be more unprofessional or more rude. Emails and phone calls go unanswered for weeks. When I finally manage to get ahold of someone, they insult my ideas, say they'll get back to me...and don't. recent guest at wedding I would say overall they are ok but there were some flaws. Keep in mind that I am in the business to some extent as a Kosher Restaurant Manager, so I notice things and am very critical where others might not.I attended a wedding this past week catered by Main Event.Overall, I give them high marks for presentation and general food quality.
