The classic Maid Rite, perfect and traditionally simple, always great.
This is where my husband wanted to eat his Father's Day meal. He grew up in a small town close to Muscatine and eating Maid-Rites. By the way he is 81 years young. He has been eating Maid-Rites for a long time. Round trip is over 100 moles but will worth it. Service was wonderful. And of course the rootbeer icy cool and delicious as always.
Place of my childhood. I still need to go there for a fix every time I'm in town. Love the sandwiches and beer battered fries.
