I ordered some fried chicken, black eye peas, a corn bread muffin, macaroni and cheese and Oreo cookie banana pudding. When my order was delivered. The fried chicken, macaroni and chees and corn bread muffin was obviously old and was not fresh as if it was the food made from previous days they were trying to get rid of. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mahogany Soul Restaurant is an amazing place! The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. Everything came together for a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back! 🍽️✨
Absolutely delicious brisket! My wife loved how crispy the catfish was. Fries and Mac and cheese were extremely good. Topped off with great service! Biggest shame was I didn’t leave room for dessert!
Absolutely amazing folks! Ordered 5 mins before closing and they did not hesitate to take my order and was very kind upon arrival! Even gave me extra food and asked if I wanted more! This a family owned business and they are great folks! Food was amazing and still fresh at 12am!!
This is definitely not authentic soul food. I was highly disappointed! How do you mess up sweet tea? It’s not supposed to be carbonated. The cornbread dressing & Mac & cheese were not up to par. The smothered pork chop was ok. The cornbread was the best part of the meal. But I should have known, CA soul food leaves a lot to be desired.
