I'd suggest renting a U-HAUL elsewhere. Didn't even bother to tell me the U-HAUL didn't have the furniture blankets in them I ordered so I had to drive all the way to another U-HAUL center just to get the blankets. Someone was supposed to be there but there wasn't.
I trust these people very very much. I rented two houses from them site unseen and I have not been sorry with neither one. They’re very helpful. You call him and the next day or two. The maintenance people are out to help you if you leave messages he will return the phone call. It might take a couple days cause he gets a lot of phone calls, but he will return your call. They’re very helpful people from William Mah to Anthony and to Brandon. They are all great. Never been sorry
The Mahnopoly family are one of the best rental companies in Topeka. They take pride and their properties and keep them Updated and clean. Anytime I had a maintenance issue maintenance resolved the issue within the same day. Mr Mah and his sons are very professional and polite. He’s the best landlord I’ve ever had in Topeka.
I happened to pass one of the company's "branded" vehicle. They're sporting a Cyber Truck ($100,000) -- a truck only in title. It's carrying a little magnetic sticker advertising the business (tax write off?) So just be aware your landlord probably is investing your rent dollars in glorified yard art, and hold them accountable if they refuse to provide a proper standard of living.
Do NOT and I repeat DO NOT…. Purchase one of this company’s homes. They are shoddily built, with zero quality control, and questionable building practices. The bare minimum needed to pass inspection is basically it. Sure it might look good, but once you close you’ll be singing the praises of the contractors that have to come back and fix what wasn’t done correctly. Foundation issues, mold, doors and windows that don’t seal, and plumbing that leaks. No wonder the first owners were in the house for less than a year before need... read more
