I have extreme dental anxiety to the point that I cry at nearly every dental appointment I have, and if I have to get any work done I often put it off until it becomes unbearable. I shared this with Dr. Maghsoudlou and he had me come in for a consult the day before my scheduled tooth extraction & filling, he spent the appointment giving me all of the reassurance I needed and was unbelievably empathetic about my anxiety. Very kind and helpful, interested in me as a person (not just patient/paycheck). Listened to all my concerns and asked good questions. He gave me good advice - I went in thinking I had a wisdom tooth coming in sideways because I was in a lot of surprising pain. He told me the pain was normal, and that if I really wanted to get it out he would make that happen for me, but that it wasn't necessary, as the tooth was coming in fine. Very nice to have a Dr who doesn't push unnecessary services!
