I don't recommend Dr. Humera at all. First she is very materialistic. Even if you are crying and your hour is up, that's it, your hour is up. She noted numerous red flags and all she did was try to push on me EMDR, but refused to start it with me (?), without suggesting immediate emergency care, that I needed. Then after I was in the hospital she messed up my husband and I relationship by painting me as unreasonable for not wanting my abuser to live in my home anymore (someone else not husband). I have been seeing Humera Mahmood since July 2015. I have done a mix of talk therapy and EMDR. She is highly competent in both. She has been extremely helpful, kind, and empathetic and I have truly benefited from her help navigating some difficult time in my life. I had seen other therapists before meeting Mrs. Mahmood and didn't quite connect with them as well as I have with her. I would definitely recommend her to a friend.
