Did a egd 6 weeks ago found nothing wrong other than a scaring in my throat. The office called back with another date to have my throat dilated and he only did another egd. Didn't even fix what I was there for. He has no clue what he is doing.

Dr. Salam rushed me and did not answer all my questions. Worse, he misread my medical history and said that I have HIV! I do not have HIV, but he seemed confident that I did and did not apologize. Then he said we would move our consult to another room to schedule the colonoscopy, but then he disappeared. I asked the office assistant to bring him back since he was getting paid $500 for the visit. He came back and looked irritated. I had two more questions for him, but after my first question he answered it and left abruptly a... read more
Very Bad. Had a colonscopy on 4/26. H\e removed 1 polyp and sent to lab for biopsy. I had to call his office today5/16/24 and ask if he has the results. He does, but he hasn't gotten around to look at the results. It is sad that I have to call the doctor and find out my results and "he hasn't had time to look at it". Run...don't walk from this Dr.
Very good a very concern about his patients and the staff is very good as well
Horrible bedside manner. HORRIBLE!!!! I REFUSE to ever see him again!
Absolutely one of the nicest doctors I have ever met! His bedside manor is fantastic. I wish I went to him sooner!
Great communication. I have seen Dr Salam for over a year, and have had liver ultrasound, liver biopsy, and many lab tests. He has explained all procedures and results thoroughly, and I would recommend him to anyone.
My visit with Dr. Salam was very informative. My husband and I liked the way every so often he would ask if we had any questions. All details of the visit were explained so that we could understand. I would recommend this doctor.
I'm sorry to say Dr. Salam seemed put off with me. He didn't seem to like me questioning his instructions. Although my visit was for a routine colonoscopy and endoscopy I had other issues that I needed addressed, and were not. He seemed to be so sure that my problem was "just my anatomy" and "nothing to worry about" then I was told to "go find another Dr. if I didn't like his explanation". So I did I am now 9 days post op of a Spigelian Hernia repair. No recommendations are coming from me.
