Gives landlords a bad name. We lived in one of their properties in Broken Arrow and were un-bothered for years. We only received communication from them when they stated our gutters needed to be cleaned. When we were coming up on our next renewal Mahan indicated it would be no problem 30+ days out. Okay, so let's get something straight: if you're a bad renter, if you pay your rent late, or if you harm the property, you're probably not going to get your deposit back. My wife and I rented from the Mahans for a year. They updated the house at our request before we moved in at no cost to us. They were prompt and straight forward with us throughout the application and lease. Got back to us right away the one time we had a problem (a squirrel had made its home in our dryer vent). DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STEAR CLEAR! My husband and I looked at a property they had for rent. It was decent and what we needed for us and our newborn baby. They walked us through it - they weren't the kindest but they weren't rude either. We decided we would submit the application. The woman asked us if we had cash to submit the application *RED FLAG* we did so we gave her the money. I emailed everything she asked for and didn't hear back for a week. My husband and I have rented from the Mahans for the past two years. We have no complaints. They are not intrusive and responded promptly to any issues we had with the house. If you are a good renter and take care of the property, they are excellent landlords.

Unlike the other reviews on here i have had a positive experience so far with the Mahans. I have lived here for about 8 months and have not heard from them until yesterday for an inspection. The inspection was reasonable and brief. They are strict on rent policies and do not allow a grace period (anything after the first is late) but she is very up front with that and all requirements/expectations which to some people could come off as abrasive. But overall I've enjoyed my time here it's a nice property.
