2 years ago, I would have given 5 stars with excellent review....the last two times we've been there, although the food is still great, best potato soup anywhere...the staff has not been nearly as friendly as years gone by. There are no smiles, no coming back to check on your meal, very much lacking in friendly service. This last time, just 24 hours ago, we couldn't wait to get out ..... it was "chillier" inside than outside. It's a shame, we won't be back for awhile.

Well this is certainly dismaying to read. I need to get to the bottom of this. To clarify, you were in on Wednesday the 7th? Was it day or evening? I'm terribly sorry for such a lackluster experience.
RecommendedWe had our rehearsal dinner here in June. I can't even begin to describe how happy I am with this establishment. It was perfect! From the planning to the event this place was on top of everything. There wasn't a single complaint about the food and even though there was a quick summer shower, They still were able to get the patio ready for us to eat outdoors. It was so great. The menu had the vegetarian pasta, the bacon wrapped pork, the salmon and the lasagna and everyone loved everything!

They have the best baked Brie than any other restaurant. We also love the great outdoor patio.
Friendly staff. Mostly outdoor seating very well arranged. Food is excellent! Wonderful environment to enjoy

Thank you Liz! We love to hear "as always" and are so glad you enjoy the music. That is a relatively new addition for us. We have music Wednesday thru Sunday during the season. We drop Wednesday and Thursday as it gets cooler at night. This glorious fall has been a boon to us and to the incredibly talented musicians we have in our area! This weekend is a stellar lineup! Probably my favorite restaurant on Main Street. The food is always good. Service is good. Yes it's a little pricey, so we don't go as often as I'd like, but still I give it 5*' s!

Thank you! We aren't the cheapest place in town but there are reasons for that. I buy the highest quality food available. I also have zero employees making minimum wage.
The food and service was amazing !! I love magpies... bugs were annoying but that's mother nature !!
