Without a doubt the best meal I had in Harrisonburg. The attention to detail really shines through in the food. Everything was perfect. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bread was toasted perfectly, the bacon crumbles were uniform, the tomatoes were fresh, etcetera. Went for breakfast and coffee. Everything was top-notch. When I return to Massachusetts after visiting family in Virginia, I always stop at Magpie for both breakfast and also for a latte and croissant to go. While you can get usual breakfast items, I opt to choose from the eclectic options and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the chorizo bowl. The food is exceptional!
We’re visiting the area for my husband’s work. I came here for lunch with my infant and had a pretty bad experience. I never saw my waitress after she took my order. She never brought me a refill or checked in to see how my food was. She kept checking on the other tables around me but never me.
