RecommendedI ate at Magpie Cafe for the first time on 3/9/19. I had a small gathering there, for my birthday. The food was excellent! I had the Wolfe Ranch Quail. The Crispy Pork Belly was our starter dish. It was excellent as well! I met the owner, who was wonderful! Carmen took care of our table. Everyone, including the hostess were fantastic! The whole vibe there was great! I definitely will be returning. I highly recommend this place.

Ordered the salmon "special". Thirty bucks! Now, I have had $30 seafood dishes, before, and some were memorable for very good reasons. This one was memorable for two not-so-good reasons: 1) the teensie-tiny portion, and 2) the Denny's-level service that accompanied it.
Excellent. Excellent service. Creative cooking and food presentation. Superb staff and ambience.
Good food and service. Forgot the appetizer but got us both a free dessert.
