Brian and his assistant took down a tall skinny ailing pine for me. The pine was tucked in between several saplings in a small patch of trees in my yard and tall enough to hit the neighbors' house and /or wipe out their prized Rose of Sharon bushes if not dropped correctly. My only reason for taking down the pine was to avoid liability for its toppling on the neighbor's property during a wind storm and causing damage or injury. Brian and his assistant cut down the tree without damaging any of my or the neighbor's trees or bushes at all. They also stacked the wood neatly where I requested. Brian had offered to carry the logs away, carrying them by hand to his construction truck to avoid risking damage to my property in driving the truck over the land. I declined his offer simply because I wanted to keep the wood and was grateful for his not wanting to cause any damage to my property, including the land and soil, unnecessarily. I watched while they cut down the tree. They did not rush. They took their time to cut it properly without risk of damaging my neighbor's bushes or house or my chicken coop, trees, bushes, and saplings. The tree was skinny but could have caused a great deal of damage if not felled in one very specific place. The job took skill, experience, patience, and teamwork as the tree did not "cooperate" with their endeavors. They dropped it in that one specific place with perfection regardless. My neighbor watched from his porch as well and complimented Brian on the quality of his work. Brian gave me a very reasonable quote even reducing the amount due when the job was said and done (given the fact he did not have to haul the wood away and was able to cut down the tree in short order with careful planning and excellent teamwork). I have never written a review before this. It is worth my writing one now in support of Brian, his colleague, and business... oh, and also, in support of any saplings (aka future trees) and neighborly relations in need of TLC. The patch of saplings remains unharmed as do the neighborly relations.

Magoon Tree is awesome. We had 4 large oaks and a hemlock taken down. Brian came and gave us a quote and explained how he would take the trees down, clean up the brush, and grind the stumps, and stack the logs for our access to cut into firewood. Brian gave us a very reasonable quote, used his crane to take our twin oak down, fell 2 oaks which were near the house, and climbed the hemlock to take it piece by piece as our septic system is in our front yard. Brian took much care not to fall trees or run his equipment over our septic system. We had blown leaves the day before Brian came to begin removing our trees and Brian made sure our yard was left in the condition he found it. We were left very impressed and extremely happy with the service Brian and his crew provided. We will definitely hire this friendly company for any future tree service we need, and highly recommend Magoon Tree to anyone.

Brian came out to my home to provide a free estimate within two hours of my first call, and had a team there to perform the work the following morning. He was responsive, helpful, and offered fair pricing, and the two crew members who completed the job were friendly and enthusiastic. Experiences just don't get much better than this, start to finish. As I told Brian, I'll call him the next time something comes up or I need to take something down!
