I made the mistake of booking a room at Magnuson Grand Hotel so that you don’t have to. They say pictures are worth a thousand words; I won’t say anything else.
This stay was awful. It looked haunted. You can tell little traffic comes thru this hotel. Rooms looked like they was not cleaned in weeks. Dead bugs an spider webs in the room. Smells like mold and mildew. Restroom door would t even close. Pillows smelled awful like mold
No my choice to stay here. Had to for work. The front desk guy keeps saying I have to give him non-refundable $100 cash as a deposit even though I already paid for room on Priceline which I know will put a hold on my card if needed. Not sure if Priceline or the owner is aware he is doing that.
Look at the pictures before booking. Terrible experience. The pictures on websites advertising this place is not how it looks. Booked 2 nights and stayed a few hours, enough to rest, shower and leave. Hotel would not reimburse for one night after I was willing to pay for the first night even though I didn't check in until 3 am and was out of the room by 12 the same day.
