This dessert shop is great! It's a little off the beaten path but well known to locals. Their specialty is Mexican ice cream and "preparadas" which have fresh fruit with different spices like chamoy, chili, tamarind, and lime. There are lots of options for combinations. They also have candied apples, caramel apples, and apples with added spices. Corn in a cup is delicious too. The kids love the candy store area and there are plenty of seats inside and outside. The workers are nice. Our order hasn’t always been correct, but they have fixed it. It’s a little overpriced for what they serve. Most of the workers are nice and respectful. There’s one lady who isn’t really polite. I ordered something and asked if they could change one thing and she said that I was calling the raspa by the wrong name I didn’t think the comment was necessary but I didn’t say anything. We used to think the 40 min drive was worth it.
