Magie Time Machine This is always a great place to go with a group for some light-hearted fun. All the servers wear ridiculous costumes and act silly. They have all sorts of nooks and crannies with tables in them so it has a very intimate feel. If you go there for a birthday or special occasion they will always try to embarrass you. The food is satisfactory, but not the reason to go. Their proportions are huge; I can easily split a meal with someone here.
Great family atmosphere This is a great place for special occassions. The atmosphere is absolutely great. The character waiters are friendly and funny and make your dining a great experience. The kids absolutely love going there. It is a bit pricey and the food is not great but I go there for the atmosphere the most.
Fun for the whole family! If you're looking for food and entertainment, this is the place! Very kid friendly, the waiters dress up in different caracters from Dracula to Snow White to Buddy Holly and Elvis! The food is medeocre, however, if you're with a group (5 or more) order the Roman Orgy and you will not be displeased! SOOO much fun! Everytime we visit San Antonio, the first place our kids want to go is to Magic Time machine. Absolutely love the waiters and waitresses. They keep you laughing and having a good time. Food is great!!
RecommendedOur Spring Break started on Monday, March 16th. We came down for some family time and to recharge. We decided before leaving that as a family we would go to MTM. Katniss was a fantastic waitress. We're are a crazy group and she was with us every step and stayed on top of everything. Thank you so much for letting our craziness run wild Tuesday night.
Great place. First time had fun
I can’t believe it took us nearly 9 years since I moved to San Antonio to come here. We had so much fun. And the food was great. Really filling. A tip: engage with your waiter and other characters. It’s more fun that way!!
