As others have said, it's impossible to find a provider. The people that work for the call center and nice, but they are not trained well enough to know how to send you a provider list. There is no insurance card, and as a result, even providers that accept the insurance aren't able to easily verify that you are in network. I love my kids' health insurance, but I will have to switch just to avoid behavioral health management by this company.
This is the worst insurance I've ever had. Etena is even better this. I've been trying to find a provider that meets my needs, for over a year now. The provider directory is not up to date. The address, phone numbers and other pertinent information is wrong. Several of the providers listed are no longer in network or accepting new clients. There is a lack of diversity amongst the providers. 2022...Good luck if you need a psychiatrist and help! No psychiatrists available. Its a joke and everytime you contact Magellan, they never have any new doctors. Be prepared to pay out of pocket if you need help!! 3 years later (now 2025) and still no help and getting the runaround from Magellan. Be aware, Magellan and Magellan of PA are two totally different insurances. Magellan of PA has no psychiatrist available. It's devastating to need help and your insurance company could care less.
