BEWARE***** Apparently they no longer have a cake decorator but fail to tell you that upon ordering a decorated cake. Ordered a 21st birthday cake for my daughter expecting to have it done in UK blue/white. Got the most pitiful looking cake. Only thing on it was Happy 21st and the writing was very sloppy and smeared. My entire family laughed when they saw it. It was really really bad. As first timers I asked the man behind the counter for recommendations; such incredible customer service. He gave me what I ordered and extra "just to try." I don't expect that from any restaurant, but gosh it was so nice to have someone in their position care more about the customers experience than the bottom line. Ordered some biscuit and gravy dish for breakfast today. It was a little pricey but for the quality it was a great deal and there was soooo muuuuch food included. It was breakfast and lunch.
Best local bakery in Lexington, family owned is why they treat you like family!! The pumpkins muffins are my absolute favorite. YUMM!!
The food was pretty good. You guys also handled a panhandler well by giving him some food and a coffee when he was asked to leave. Very classy place.
I have been going to this bakery since I was a small child. My favorites are the mallow bars and mini chess pies. When I visit Ky, this is a "must stop". I almost always bring treats home with me from here.
My family has recently become fans of magee's bakery. today we have more of a reason to stay fans. While we were waiting in line to order one of the employees noticed that my daughter was crying. He came from behind the counter to great her and offer her and my other daughter a donut to cheer them up . As a student of the hospitality industry and hopefully one day a restaurant owner this was so impressive . Thank you for your great local food and impressive hospitality keep up the good work !!
