This hospital is nothing more than a joke. To put my sister at risk, and then my niece is ridiculous. My sister tried advocating for herself just to be brushed off so many times which then put her and her baby at risk. Even now nothing is being taken serious or into consideration for her health which is disturbing and uncalled for. I have dealt with the urogyne dept. for about 2 years. I have constant frequent UTI’s. 24 in 2 years! They have done nothing to help!! Have tried various ways but nothing works. 2 days ago I received the report that I do indeed have another one. They have not prescribed an antibiotic!! I have called n called n messaged. No one responds!! I absolutely hate Magee!! You would think with so many frequent UTI’s they would have me be seen by a doctor. But no! I am in terrible pain but they don’t care. Filthy, extremely urban, and definitely overcrowded hospital. The same goes for the bariatric department on the 5th floor. Filthy, urban, and overcrowded. I wouldn't trust anyone here for bariatric surgery or advice, especially "Doctor" Ramanathan. Find better care elsewhere.
Terrible Hospital for birth. Won’t let me see my niece being born because visitors have to be out by 9. Security Officers don’t have anything better to do then give people a hard time. Nurses and Doctors seem great. This review is strictly for the hospital and the Security. Will never ever recommend anyone go here especially for child birth.
