This website would not post my actual opinion because my review was very long and in detail as this doctor has no integrity whatsoever his word is not good. His staff were nice and very helpful but the ending result his surgery was scheduled three times and three times canceled town for a new doctor
Waited 3 months with severe low back pain to get in seen the PA she said I had two disc rubbing bone on bone that was what was causing the severe pain and I needed surgery so I said ok she said the surgery would be in 4 weeks and they would call me with a surgery date I waited 4 weeks still in bad pain and didn't hear from them so I called them back and they said the doctor looked at my disc and didn't recommend any surgery at this time they didn't even bother to call me back I'm no doctor but something is bad wrong it's jus... read more
I had been patient of Dr. El -Kalliny for about 4 years. He did the best he could do and than some but in the end the bridge was burnt. The receptionists are extremely polite and kind but the rest of the staff is bogged down and over booked. I attempted to establish communication and contact but not a return call, text, email, or even a letter in the mail.
This was first appointment and I waited well over 2 hours to get back into the exam room where I saw the Nurse Practitioner. He was nice enough and tried to answer my questions unsuccessfully. He went to get the doctor who I dont think I would have seen if I hadn't pushed the point. The Dr. was there about 5 minutes didnt really explain anything he checked my mri but not the ct then just ordered more test. I left knowing less than I did when I came in. I'm finding a new Dr.!
PRE-op care - Dr El K spent approprite amount of time, responded empathetically. Quickly obtained insurance approval for surgery. I was impressed and grateful to have found him. However, very poor POST- surgical care. Very difficult to reach office by phone. Reply to messages slow/or non-existent. Slow to provide test results. Slow to respond to urgent post-op concerns. Poor nursing care. At the very least, poor office management. Don't be fooled by office decor, it's all smoke and mirrors.
