Took a car in for a scheduled post purchase inspection. Had an appointment 830am. I called at 5pm because I hadn't received another text update all day. The advisor, Evan; had left for the day and never sent the car back to the techs. He "forgot". I had to take the car home without being seen at all. Ahmed, another advisor, was very kind and tried to help the best he could. Not a good look for BMW.
Against my better judgement due to a horrible experience with their mini cooper service, because of proximity I scheduled our 2017 330i for (post)pre-purchase inspection. I needed it done on a Saturday as we needed the car M-F. Brought it in as scheduled 830AM. Told Evan, my adviser, how important a thorough inspection was as we just purchased it and wanted to know it was in good shape. Had my car towed here for a flat tire. They were responsive and had everything taken care of quickly. Car was cleaned before I picked it up.
Count me informed every step of the way but good Lord the price you pay for service
