He is very thorough with his examination and explains the situation very clearly . Takes time to answer all questions. I never felt rushed.
She is judgemental and belittling at times when she doesn't agree with me about my decisions. I would not recommend her for someone who is dealing with anxiety and or depression as she is insensitive and doesn't have good bedside manner with mental health issues. I did really like her at first but over the years I have been increasingly frustrated. Time to look for a new doctor!

My 40 year old husband was a patient at Exeter hospital in August 2021. Dr. Jo was his hospitalist. Due to his diagnosis, stage IV cancer, an intestinal blockage and having previously taken antibiotics, Dr. Jo would not prescribe him antibiotics for his cellulitis. She said that antibiotics no longer worked on him. His oncologist insisted she put him on IV antibiotics and the next day the cellulitis already showed significant improvement. "Dr. Pallatroni disparaged the radiologist who read my MRI and commented "if I had time I would call all the radiologist who are wrong, but I don't have that kind of time". He was dismissive of my long time neurologist's opinion on my condition as well as the home PT & OT who have been treating me for over 5 weeks. Apparently "No One" know anything but him. We were patients for approximately two years until she made my teenage daughter so uncomfortable with her questions during a physical that we left the practice. She’s condescending and doesn’t believe patients and doesn’t see fit to have a parent present even if the child wants them there. My then 13 year old daughter was so upset that Dr. Palmer kept asking her if she was sexually active and if she wanted birth control even after she said she was not. Dr. Pallatroni treated a spinal problem that was causing me pain resulting ins a limited life situation. His exam and diagnosis was conducted in a way that I understood so much more about my condition. He listened carefully to my concerns. His skill and professionalism gave me confidence. The surgery was a challenging one, but now I can hike and dance! Thanks for the terrific outcome and your care about my well being Dr. Pallatroni!
I was told that this was the place to go after a debilitating back condition. I was incorrect. Dr. Pallatroni came very highly recommend, but was actually very...dismissive. He missed several conditions that were left out on an imaging report and even after I pointed them out and he was able to double check himself with my images before him, still was not really willing, or seemingly willing to take the next steps with any type of urgency so that I may get my life back as soon as possible. Terrible experience! Dr. Tan is a contract doctor for the Veterans Administration. I was assigned as his patient. I would have NEVER selected him. He is unprofessional, rude, condescending and the most insensitive health care provider I have ever encountered. If the VA continues to hire doctors with his horrible skills and demeanor they are doing a huge and damaging disservice to those who served their country.
Knows what she is doing and explains it so we, the patient, knows too! Best Doctor I've ever known in my 79 years!
