good pizza, good atmosphere, good service – Went there on Sat. night one hour before a Preds. game; in other words, we were in a hurry. After a quick seating, our friendly waitress got the pizza ordered fast. Everything was good and we were out of there in time to get to the game early!
Horrible Experience – Rude wait staff, management that doesn't care and mediocre food. Does that say enough? I rarely write reviews, but I try to warn EVERYONE I know that this place isn't worth it! Even on take-out! After a horrible dining in experience, I thought maybe take-out would be better. NOPE! They must have given me a slice of pizza that was 3 hours old that they threw some cheese and toppings on and threw back in the oven! It was disgusting! I couldn't even finish it. DO NOT GO HERE!
ok pizza if you want mediocre pizza – We have just moved to the area and were looking for a good pizza place--meaning thin freshly made crust simple fresh sauce not over herbed and good quality mozzerella and parmagiana. We got take out first and by the time it was home it was cold and flavorless. When we tried again in the restaurant, it was improved. The atmosphere was fine for a family. It just is too expensive for the quality.
Great service, Tasty pizza – I don't know if these people have even been to Mafiaozas judging by their reviews! I frequent this restaurant for three reasons: The service staff is always very friendly and accommodating, they are knowledgeable about their food and very extensive wine list, and I've never had anything from the menu I didn't like. The first time I dined at this establishment my server knowledgeably guided me through the menu and was able to make lots of recommendations despite my nut allergy . What really impres... read more
Ok food, bad service, rude workers – I have always enjoyed going to Mafiaozos in the past because of the great environment and good food. Recently the times I have visited the quality of the food (the pizza especially) has not been very good. The staff is not attentive...I had to ask twice for my appetizer and drinks. In general, they weren't very friendly. Working with the public myself day to day, I know that it can be difficult but I hope that they improve in these areas in the future or I won't be going back.
Horrible Managerment and Service – A group of girls and myself visited the restaurant after work on Friday night (8/17/07). We enjoyed the atmosphere at the beginning. However, the night took a horrible turn. It began after we were seated and waiting for the remaining members of our party to arrive. Great Food, Questionable Service – Some of the best pizza I've had. Service however is something left to be desired. Not that the servers aren't friendly, just not what I would call great. From time to time you get that "where is my server" or "is he/she avoiding me" feeling. If you're looking for prompt service, might want to try somewhere else. Smoky Bar...Not for Kids! – My wife and I brought our 4 year old and our 6 year old to eat after reading that the restaurant was good for families. I couldn't disagree more! We were seated in the room in front of the ovens, which the kids liked, but it's next to a very smoky, loud and busy bar. After choking on smoke and listening to bar patrons getting loud and using obscenities, we requested to be moved. We just couldn't get the smoke out of our noses... yuk!
Won't be going back – We went there on a Saturday night because it had been recommended by some of my husband's co-workers. The food was awful. The pizza crust was bland and soggy, with very little sauce. The toppings were ok (but how can you ruin veggies?).
