!976 snowblower still going fine We got our snowblower at Maestranzi Bros. in 1976. They service it every year - they pick up and deliver at my home - and they have a really great turnaround if you have a mishap and need a repair.
Maestranzi Brothers is expensive! Maestranzi Brothers does great work but you pay absurd prices for parts and service! They have a large inventory and you pay 40-70% over list price for those parts! They have a stronghold on the North shore area and have been in business forever. A typical snow-blower tune up will run you $350-400 with parts. Tim W Bought a Toro lawnmower in 1989 and 8 hp Arien's snow blower in 1997 and they run like a top. We have the lawnmower serviced every other year and the snow blower tuned up every 3-4 years. Great turnaround on the service department they pick it up and deliver. If value is important to you go to Maestranzi's if not go to a big box store and you will be replacing them every 4-5 years. 5 stars
Waste of money going with these losers. Paid almost $400 for a tuneup for my snowblower, and then found out during the first snowstorm that it doesn't work. Called them up and they came out in 2 days and picked it up, and dropped it off here the next day. Found out during last Wednesday's storm that it still didn't work. Called them up again and they said "well it needs a carburetor and we don't have one" but they said they'd come get it in a day or two. The BeSt place to buy your lawn mower or snow blower!! If you have to invest money for a lawn mower or a new snow blower, I would suggest looking in at Maestranzi Bros. Their prices may be slightly higher than the home stores,,but if anything should go wrong with your machine or if you need a tune up, they will provide free home delivery service.
