Caring disposition
I am extremely pleased with the care and ultimately the outcome of my spinal surgery. Dr. Madom and his team understood the challenges that I had lived with for almost three years prior to being in their care, developing a treatment plan that finally has me recovering with excellent results and pain free. I would highly recommend Dr. Madom and his team to anyone seeking highly knowledgeable and skilled orthopedic care.
The care I received from Dr Madom and his entire staff was outstanding every step of the way. Not only is he extremely good at what he does, but he is kind, attentive and always goes above and beyond to make sure all your questions are answered. Team members respond quickly to messages about appointments, medications or general questions and concerns. Employer and insurance forms are also turned around extremely fast. I highly recommend!
Dr Madom was knowledgable and thorough with all my visits. He explained all the possible complications and how my deterioration could progress so that I could make an informed decision about my surgery. By the time I went to see Dr Madom I knew the risk of surgery was my only real option. I am 8 years out from surgery and still doing extremely well. I highly recommend Dr Madom. If I ever need another spinal surgery I would travel anywhere to see him.
If lack of compassion was a malpractice...I would own him. He cares only about one thing ..Himself. stay away ..WARNING.
I visited with the Dr regarding neck pain. He was very nice and informative. I was sent for PT which I had to discontinue because of pain. On my second visit I saw a PA who came across as abrasive and when I asked for an MRI she reluctantly agreed. She said I don’t know why you want an MRI because there is nothing we can do for your neck. I had the MRI in August and they still have not called for a follow up. My general practitioner obtained the resulted and refer me to a Dr who can do something.
No, he’s horrendously arrogant and did not take my pain seriously.
After suffering with back pain in the lumbar region and associated leg pain decided to visit Dr. Madom at South County Orthopedics. After discussing surgical treatment for lumbar stenosis from L3-5, decided to go through with surgery for a L3-5 decompression with instrumented fusion and interbody fusion. Surgery took place in March 2018 and 8 months later I can report that I am now pain free. Thanks you to Dr. Madom and his staff at South County Orthopedics for taking such good care of me.
Dr Madom, M.D., treated me in the South County Orthopedics Clinic for a very severe cervical spine problem dating from 1970 while serving in the military. Communication and scheduling was very easy. He and his staff did all possible to make the cervical spine operation a "pleasant," healing experience. Will always return to see Dr. Madom for spinal matters, having been so impressed with him traveling over 1500 miles for his care. Capt. D.C. Hill U.S. Navy (Ret.)
