RecommendedIn the past, my pups have been nervous/reluctant to go to vet or grooming appointments. They have even started out happy but then something changes and they don’t want to go. Pets can’t tell you what they’re thinking so you have to pay attention to their actions. Since we’ve been coming here, my pups are so excited to go. They even whine to get out of the car to go in when we get there. This is how I know they are being treated well and that gives this pup mom peace of mind.
Dr. Haldeman and the entire staff here is amazing. They are kind, compassionate , responsive and all wonderful in the way they handle and treat my senior Lab Max, who has quite a few issues. Max has bilateral osteoarthritis in his elbows, so even a simple nail trim can leave him stiff and uncomfortable but once again, the staff did an amazing job and Max never skipped a beat. I’ve carried my pug to Dr. Orr for over a year now. She makes my baby feel better every time he goes for his skin allergy. I highly recommend her to anyone. And the staff cannot be beat. Always so sweet and has a smile on their face. My Aubie has been biting and scratching himself for the past couple days and hasn’t rested or slept at all. After his appointment today and we got home, all he’s done is slept. I live in Florence, but it’s worth the drive. I would drive 2 hours if I had to . Madison Veterinary Hospital has been nothing but excellent! From the moment I walked in as a new dog mom, I am always treated with respect and none of my questions are ever silly to them. They accommodated my dog Thor to stay with them over New Year’s Eve even though I had a last minute cancellation elsewhere due to Kennel Cough.
