I’ve been a premium member at Madison Reed because I wanted the convenience of getting my roots touched up every three weeks, but after my latest experience, I can’t justify the cost anymore. My appointment was at 7:15 PM. I called the salon and also sent a text letting them know I was running about 10–15 minutes late. The automated system replied that it was fine. I love going to this location. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and very accommodating. It is best to book a day ahead as they get pretty busy.

I chose Madison Reed because it advertises itself as a salon with hair color experts. I went in wanting my roots done and either a highlight retouch or a few new highlights. Instead of receiving expert guidance, the colorist seemed unsure of what to do. She repeatedly left to ask another employee, and then the manager had to step in. At first, I was told there wasn’t enough time for highlights, which I completely understood.
