Great! Easy, bright, friendly. It took me a bit to understand how billing worked with my new Madison Reed membership, but I got it in the end. Very pleasant and they did a great job! Lovely neighborhood to grab a meal/drink after.

Do not go! I had an absolutely terrible experience at Madison Reed. Not only was I treated poorly by the manager, Danielle, but the stylist also completely ignored what I asked for during the consultation. I showed multiple reference photos of the warm-toned highlights I wanted on my bob haircut, and the result was nothing like the photos. Instead, my hair ended up orange, gray, over-bleached, and severely damaged. An uncomfortable location overall: rude staff, usually understaffed so you have to wait for the color and then wait for the wash.

My last experience was great, a 5 indeed. I had a great stylist who knows hair color. But what disappointed me is that she looked at my history and it confirmed that the inconsistency in communication among stylists and even corporate communication. I'll continue to be a customer because the product is good and cleaner than most. And I do get the occasional 5 star stylist (50% of the time). But ask and clarify as a new and regular customer to get the facts.
