UPDATE: After this review, I contacted the below email address and Michael was extremely prompt and helpful and the only one to apologize on behalf of the borough itself when I had never interacted with him previously (ie the mistakes / issues were not his own). I did receive my first ever call back from the registrar lady who fixed her mistake on our certified copies. Michael quickly mailed us off those new certified copies which had the correct wedding date this time. Thank you Michael for going above and beyond, and helpi... read more

Do not get married in this township. You will be given incorrect information about the after marriage document process and when you’re able to apply for those certified copies. Also, your “certified” marriage license will have the incorrect marriage date on there even when it is signed, sealed, and says it’s been certified as correct!!! (Also our certificate, before the license, had the wrong birth place name on it too, but we were able to correct it before it was signed by our pastor and submitted to the State).
