Horrible wait staff. Horrible service! Can't believe all the hype!! Awful!!!
I had the lobster here and it was cooked to perfection it was delicious. The wine was pared with each dish perfectly. The staff is amazing and very friendly and tentative. I loved it. It's a must to have dinner here.

I'm a vegetarian so I ordered the vegetarian set menu over a business dinner, which was sent to the table 8 min after everyone's meal dish was served. 3 course meal and $300 bucks after, both me and another vegetarian got severely sick that night - threw up multiple times followed by diarrhea. I called Madera about the situation but was ignored with really snobbish attitude. I'm not sure if I was discriminated as a vegetarian or what. In all and all a very disappointing experience and the worst Michelin star I've ever had.
The most delicious Envious Manhattans and best Veal I have yet to experience. The service is spectacular and the ambiance is cozy and intimate. On a beautiful day, the view is phenomenal.
Nice spot local spot to have a drink after a busy day. But really enjoy it more on sunny California days.

The food and wine were just better then the best. A small problem with the noise in the restaurant (therefore the 4 star, if I could give a have more I would), but when you are able too book a private room with terass, wauw... Just wauw. Also the wine menu and the sommeliers do a terrific job of advising the percent wine with the menu. Is it something typical American or even European? No! just best of all A great restaurant with great service and even better food and service, I only can compliment it.
Amazing restaurant, the fois gras is probably the best I've ever had anywhere!
